1. General Policy
Candidates are requested to carefully read the recruitment notification, eligibility criteria, instructions and fee details before making the payment. By proceeding to pay, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to this limited refund policy.
2. No Cancellation After Successful Payment
- Once the exam fee payment is successfully completed and confirmed, there is no option for cancellation of the transaction through the Website.
- Requests for cancellation of candidature will not entitle the candidate to any refund of exam fees already paid.
3. Refunds Only in Case of Double / Duplicate Payment
MUCBF will consider refunds only in cases where:
- The candidate has been charged twice (or more) for the same exam, same candidate and same exam code/advertisement, and
- All such payments have been successfully credited to MUCBF’s designated account, and
- The candidate has not made multiple payments intentionally for different applications.
In such genuine double / duplicate payment cases, the extra amount (after confirming that at least one valid exam fee is retained) may be refunded as per the process below.
4. Refund Request Procedure (Double Payment)
To request a refund for double / duplicate payment, the candidate must:
- Submit a written refund request to MUCBF within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of the duplicate transaction.
- Send the request via email to admin@mucbf.com from the registered email ID, mentioning:
- Full name of the candidate
- Registration number / application number
- Exam code / advertisement number
- Date and approximate time of both transactions
- Amount paid in each transaction
- Payment method (UPI, card, net banking etc.)
- Transaction reference numbers / UTR numbers / Payment IDs for all payments
- Proof of bank statement / payment screenshot clearly showing multiple debits, if available
MUCBF may ask for additional information or documents, if required, to verify the claim with the Payment Gateway / bank.
5. Verification & Processing Time
- All refund requests will be processed only after due verification of transaction records at MUCBF, Payment Gateway and/or the concerned bank.
- On successful verification, MUCBF will initiate refund of the excess amount (after retaining one valid exam fee) to the same source account used for payment, wherever possible.
- The actual time taken for the amount to be credited back to your account will depend on your bank, card issuer, UPI app or Payment Gateway and is beyond MUCBF’s control.
6. Refund Mode
- As a general rule, refunds (where approved) will be processed only through electronic transfer to the original mode of payment.
- MUCBF does not issue cash refunds.
- If, due to technical or banking limitations, refund to the original source is not possible, MUCBF may request additional bank details from the candidate and process the refund via NEFT/RTGS at its discretion.
7. No Refund in the Following Cases
Refund requests will not be entertained in scenarios including (but not limited to):
- Candidate fails to complete or submit the online application form after paying the exam fee.
- Candidate is ineligible for the post as per the notification but has already paid the exam fee.
- Candidate applies for the wrong post / category / exam code.
- Candidate does not appear for the examination for any reason.
- Candidate provides incorrect or incomplete information in the application form.
- Candidate’s application is rejected or candidature is cancelled due to any reason mentioned in the recruitment notification or instructions.
- Issues arising due to slow internet, network problems, device malfunction, or any technical issue at the candidate’s end.
- Payment failures where the amount is not actually credited to MUCBF’s account. (In such cases, the candidate must contact their bank / Payment Gateway.)
8. Chargebacks & Disputes
- Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank / card issuer / UPI app without first contacting MUCBF may delay resolution of your issue.
- If MUCBF has already provided the services (e.g., accepted exam fee, issued admit card), it reserves the right to contest unjustified chargebacks.
9. Policy Changes
MUCBF reserves the right to modify or update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be published on https://mucbf.in/ and will be effective from the date of publication unless stated otherwise.
